The Carolina Dining Room
Step back in time in our most expansive dining room, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Imagine when it opened in 1901 - and find yourself dancing each evening to the tune of live music. The indulgent breakfast buffet is the very best life can offer.
If you're joining us for dinner, prepare to be wowed. Our new Executive Chef Thierry Debailleul has set a new standard in his menu selections, with hand-selected, aged beef with his signature dry seasoning rub for our selection of steaks and chops - including a 14 oz. "Plume de Veau" Veal Chop.
Looking for something different? The new Potato-Crusted Seabass with wilted spinach and red zinfandel reduction is a new resort favorite; as is the perfectly marinated and tender Pork Chop with corn bread and sweet potato Napoleon, sauteed wild greens and roasted apple cider butter. The Lobster bisque is made fresh in our kitchens daily - and there's plenty more. (See below for our new menu)
Also New in 2008! Pinehurst has changed the way we approach fine dining - giving you more options and choices while we focus on delivering an exceptional experience.
Beginning in October in the Carolina Dining Room, we're making the following changes;
1) We're relaxing the dress code to a "jackets preferred" instead of "jackets required" policy for evening dining
2) We're introducing daily dinner specials created by our new Executive Chef Thierry Debailleul
3)We've eliminated three-course fixed pricing in favor of a la carte selections for dinner - giving your more choices on eating light or indulging in a five course offering.
We're making these changes at your request - responding to current dining trends for a relaxed atmosphere in the best fine dining establishments in the world. In making those changes, we've dedicated our team to making the Carolina Dining Room the best upscale experience in our industry - best in quality, and best in service.
